Lay a foundation for
a flourishing faith
Foundations is a comprehensive series designed to explore the foundational elements of the Christian faith. Whether you are a new Christian seeking to deepen your understanding of your faith, a seasoned Christian eager to revisit or learn how to pass on the bedrock principles of your faith, or you are just exploring what the Christian faith is, this series is crafted with you in mind.
Explore the rich tapestry
of Christian belief and practices
Real world. Real faith.
Foundations is a 12 book series organized around four interdependent areas; Christian Story, Christian Belief, Christian Practices, and Christian Mission. These areas are not merely academic divisions but practical guides to living out your faith in the real world.
It’s all about Jesus
As you embark on this journey through the foundational elements of our faith, we pray that your heart may be stirred for Christ, your mind enlightened by Christ, your faith deepened in Christ, and all by the grace of Christ.
A journey of transformation
To help maximize your experience we encourage
the following approach.
_01
Read one chapter at a time
While you can read at any pace, we recommend one chapter per week. Consider praying before you start reading, asking the Holy Spirit to give insight as you work through the material.
_02
Reflect on what you read
Each chapter features a set of questions designed to help you process the content to increase learning, application, and ownership of the material.
_03
Reflect on key bible passages
Nothing is more important than knowing what the Bible says about each topic. Each chapter includes key biblical passages for further reading and reflection.
_04
Discuss the reflection questions with others
While you can read the Foundations series on your own, we encourage you to engage the books with other people. This series was specifically designed to be read and discussed in groups.
_05
Complete the key project
Each book includes a key project or two to help synthesize what you have learned. This is how real world discipleship and change happen. We encourage you to complete the key project by the time you finish the book and then discuss it at your final group gathering.
